Buzzy NYC quintet Slow Fiction have released their new EP Crush on taste-making UK label So Young Records. Following a slate of excited press (including The Fader, The Line Of Best Fit, Clash Music) and a full UK tour, the new EP finds the group at the height of their powers. I produced Crush with the group last year, recording at Figure 8 Recording and mixing & mastering at Studio Windows, and I loved working with them through the process. Not only is this group super-talented, but they are absolute sweethearts, and if the new material at their sold-out release show last night is any indication, the next release is going to be better still. Crush is out now via So Young Records.

NYC alt-rock quintet Slow Fiction are back with “Apollo”, their first single with the taste-making UK label So Young Records. ”Apollo” was featured in The Line Of Best Fit, Clash Magazine, Alt Citizen, and others, and received with universal praise. The track was recorded at Figure 8 Recording and mixed/mastered at Studio Windows last summer, and captures a lot of what I feel makes this one of the most exciting new bands in NYC. “Apollo” is out now via So Young Records, with more coming soon!
